Long story short, clients have certain needs, and properties have certain characteristics. The challenge here is to match the right property to the right client in a pretty much fully automated manner. Not the most straightforward job to be done, eh?
How did we fix it?
So what’s the goal here? It’s giving March employees the power to easily identify the best matching properties for their clients. This is where ML6 came in. Together, we built an internal tool that utilizes a smart recommendation engine. This allows employees to generate reports for potential clients, show them related property scores and brings all valuable factors together in a single, convenient overview. In addition, the tool has a few other features, such as personal and auto-generated offers.
What are the results?
Thanks to this matching engine, March is now able to pivot from a reactive to a proactive sales approach in the real estate industry. Together we further carved out their business model: from launching their website to shaping a data-driven matching platform in a matter of weeks!
What did the process look like?

Short, intense bursts of productivity, with clearly defined challenges at the start, weekly stand-ups, rapid prototyping, and repeated user testing. Matching potential in a two-sided marketplace.
The beautiful thing about intelligence is that it can be used in reverse. In the future, pro-actively searching for matching clients isn’t the only goal... It’s also up to us to showcase potential matches to clients browsing the web. We’re translating a user request into a realtime personalized offer, how neat is that?
