One key element that makes our Decision Dash a powerful way of conducting meetings, is a technique used by Ventures to avoid groupthink. What's groupthink, you might ask? 🤔

Groupthink is a psychological phenomenon that occurs with, you guessed it, groups of people. There's this collective, subconscious desire for unanimity and conformity, which skews the decision-making process really badly. People tend to avoid controversy, alternative solutions disappear to the background, and individual creativity is lost 😐

The solution? Introduce a "Note And Vote"-system. It's not a perfect system, and you need a single decider in the room to make sure things keep moving forward, but it's fast. Fifteen minutes of noting and voting will still beat two hours of endless back-and-forth any day of the week. Check out the card deck below to see how it works 💪
