FIrst aid in a mobile app

Each year, the largest charity event in Belgium takes place, aptly named “The Warmest Week”. In the same spirit, Bothrs is donating a free design sprint worth $20,000 to Red Cross-Flanders to help them build a first aid application, to be deployed in Sub-Saharan Africa. And you can follow along!

HOW ARE WE HELPiNG RED CROSS?

In countries such as Rwanda, Malawi, and Zimbabwe, there’s an enormous need for first aid. Many times, not only the infrastructure is missing, the necessary knowledge is often lacking as well. That is why Red Cross is building an mobile application that teaches people first aid in a simple way via their smartphone. Bothrs is partnering up with Red Cross-Flanders to transform this application into an optimal learning platform by running a design sprint with them.

WHAT's THE POINT OF 
A DESIGN SPRINT?

Countless companies are blowing ridiculous amounts of money on the development of applications, chatbots, websites...  Only to realize during launch they’ve built something nobody wants. This can be avoided by first introducing a design sprint to the development process. During the sprint, the core of your product or service gets defined and subsequently converted into a prototype, and is then immediately tested with real end users.
